I baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakeed!!!

It's been so long, but I'm back with a vengeance!

So, holidays have somewhat ended (I'm still not sure if we'll work or not on the 6th) and I did almost nothing of what I intended to XD

I didn't have time to play with Wind Waker, and I really want to finish it, dammit >_< I hate that first castle su much...
And I want to try a game my colleague lent me, Big Beach Sports, not to mention try to get an A on more DDR songs...
I want a room just for myself, with a tv in it >_< I hate that the only tv we have is in the kitchen, which is always full of people in the only days I have time to play -.-

But it was worth it in part, not being able to play with WW, because I spent that time making three cheesecakes for the christening of my neighbour's daughter's son, cakes that people pratically inhaled at the party (saw it myself, and I loved hearing people around me trying to guess the ingredients XD mascarpone, indeed...), even if the first one suffered quite a bit of damage from the person who tried to cut it. Anyway, it's always nice to hear compliments, and I pratically live for it, so it was a day well spent!

Still waiting for the felt I ordered from the UK. Can't wait to try new shapes! The kind of felt I have now, the one that can be shaped getting it wet then keeps the shape when dried, is too rigid and makes a lot of wrinkles, so it's not good for most of the things I want to sew. I just hope the kind I bought this time is the right one... I was already tricked by a stupid italian site once >_<

I also can't wait for tv series to start airing again. Man, but I miss Merlin... it's not fair that UK series only last 12 or 13 episodes >_< I want more more more!!! And I really need the series I download to reach the 12th episode, so I can burn them and make some space on my HD. It's almost full, AGAIN -.-

Luckily Santa bought me a 4gb USB pen drive! Also a set for sushi-eating, four packages of sushi rice (repetitive, much? XD), a set of towels, some money (yay!) and all sort of cute presents from my friends **

It also brought me my gift to myself, which is a new Nintendo DS, light blue, with an M3 Perfect pack, and I'm having much fun with it. I'm using it mostly to read lately, since I'm buried under the tons of fics from the various Christmas fests (I'm almost finished with Snupin Santa, hooray! I still haven't decided which one I'm gonna try to conquer next), but I've played a lot with Castleween (I will finish it someday, I swear >_<) and tried a lot of the new DS games that came out last month.

The other gift to myself, bought so long ago that I'd almost forgotten it, was The tales of Beede the Bard, collector ediction. I sort of drooled when I finally held it in my hands. It's GORGEOUS. I haven't been able to read the book yet, but the whole package is amazing. I just wish I had a nicer, taller bookshelf in which to put it, because it's just that cool >_<

One last thing before I go to bed: click on my new babies, pleeeeeeeeeease!

Also, a bit of pimping: I received a wonderful gift from Snupin Santa this year too! Go and read it, or them, since my Secret Santa was wonderful and wrote two stories, one of which containing my favourite prompt, thing for which I'll love him/her forever and ever.

It's been almost a month since I baked, and when my grandmother and mum woke up from their afternoon nap I suddenly remembered why.
Fortunately I have a portable mp3 player and a good pair of earcuffs, but still!
Next time I have the urge bake I'll remember to do it only if I'm alone.
