Ok, I discovered today the thing I really hate about this job.
It's been another one of those endless days with a scary number of calls, I was already tired, sleepy and my back was killing me, and half an hour before the end of the day we received a message from the team manager saying that they changed the place of our workstations AGAIN.
That. That is what I hate.
They say it must be done to help the workers 'fraternize'... well, we are 36 in total, we know each other form August, some even before that, we have lunch together everyday, there have been dinners and we have barely enough time to catch our breath between calls anyway, so WHAT'S THE USE of making us move every three weeks or so?!
Every time it's a hassle: you barely get to know the person next to you than a new one is thrown in his/her place. You also have to take all your things, notes, printed schemes wth procedures and such, all carefully taped to the available desk space, and reorganize them at another desk. Then you have to unplug and take with you your own headset and get used to the new monitor and the new pc. AND the people around you.
It's so unsettling, coupled with all the stress, and I've been one of those who have been moved more frequently. It's kind of become a joke, but today it was making me depressed.
I'm an creature of habit, and I don't react too well to change. And the worst thing is that they put me next to this girl that I don't like AT ALL -.- And no amount of fraternizing is going to convince me otherwise, I'm afraid.
I'm going to have words with the team manager, I am -.- (He'll probably just laugh at me, the bastard XD)
That's why every time it happens I buy candies to share with my new neighbours. I hope the sugar high will be enough to help me cope, this time u.u
